The Educational Action in the Society of the Information:

An Opportunity for Change

Abstract: In this article, there is a debate on the need to build a new educational paradigm, which will start from school education to self-learning, considering the changes that must be made to develop a cosmovision that is aimed at recovering ancestral knowledge and regional activities. They live in greater harmony with nature, changes required in the world and necessary to face the socio-environmental crisis.


The characteristics of the information society and the requirements that accompany it are analyzed, therefore the characteristics of a self-taught student are cited, in this way as teachers to encourage the development of self-learning, without forgetting the strength of the community and the communication with the living beings that surround him, both human and nonhuman, concludes with the proposal of a vision that integrates learning elements, both aulic and extra-aulic, that recover the totalitarian worldview.
