Abstract: An independent structure of evaluation run in a private school of Thessaloniki with the participation of university professors and several external collaborators in the context of the educational evaluation, as it was applied by the Ministry of Education and the Institution of Educational Policy. The goal of the function of this structure wasn’t only the evaluation of the school unit or the educators, but also the growth of a mentality that anything takes place in school should provide to the students an upgraded educational product compared to the last academic year. Overall, the independent structure was studying the changes and the improvements that should be implemented in collaboration with the educational community. So, the paper presents the function of this independent foundation of evaluation, as it was planned in a private school of Eastern Thessaloniki during three years (2012–2015).
