Abstract: This article aims to study the correspondence relationship between production through GDP, pollution and Certified Emission Reductions (CERs) generated by CDM Certified Companies in Brazil, from 2008 to 2017. The methodology is indirect through the bibliographic and documentary one, with intensive direct observations. Research is justified by the existing concerns of studies within the theme involved, and seeks to attract attention to the business sector and public managers in Brazil, with regard to the technology of environmental preservation and climate mitigation in the country. Based on research data and study time, it is considered that as production grows through GDP, the amount of tonnes of pollution increases until 2013, in later years it decreases with the recessionary economic growth, and CERs through CDM companies provide a reduction of tonnes in relation to pollution emissions. Showing, at some point, the presence of environmental technologies used for the economic growth of the production process in Brazil.
