The Model of Critical School and Promoting Love as a Value

Abstract: Critical School is a pedagogical model that builds democratic places in the classroom among students and teachers. Paolo Freire puts forward the meaning of education: “The education is an act of love, then, one act of value”. Teachers who follow principles of Critical School model apply the dialogue among students and teachers when they apply some teaching learning techniques. Some of them are: Debate, discussion, etc. Discussion is the activity of students and teachers sit down building a circle in the classroom where they talk their own points of view about a topic o a problema set by the teacher in order to study and solve the topic o problem. It prodecure in the classroom allows to everybody speaks. It is good to students and teachers because they have the possibility to express their opinion about any kind of topic. We can transform the word whithout hurting or damaging to nobody, every change ought to be in a pacific way. All change should improve to everyone, above all poor peole.
