The State of the Knowledge of Scientific Productions on the
Epistemological Conceptions of Education of Youth and Adults in Brazil

Abstract: In this article, we will present the state of knowledge from a bibliographic balance, having as interregnum the period of 2005–2012, academic productions of the field of Youth and Adult Education (EJA), within the framework of knowledge conceptions and EJA. As a result of the research, few studies of a theoretical-philosophical nature about the epistemological conceptions that permeate the work of the teachers of Youth and Adult Education, as well as the need for more in depth studies on these conceptions have been verified.
